Useful Information for our Ukrainian Friends
Hello Friends,
As you may know, one of the missions of the Plushie Help Network was to provide useful and trusted sources of information to anyone in need. We have therefore put together a PowerPoint listing:
- information for those who need to enter Romania
- trusted donation sites
You can download this as a ppt or as a pdf.
There is also information in the following pdf with information on generally:
- accessing news sources
- useful contacts in case of emergency
And one of our lovely Instagram friends who were part of the Erasmus study scheme have passed on this great fact sheet which the Erasmus team have verified. I have copy-pasted the information below.
Some useful links:
- This spreadsheet, was developed and vetted by the EMJMD GLOCAL Alumni Association, and includes an extensive list of resources to support the people in Ukraine. Please feel free to share with your networks.
- The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) has shared a plea to the European governments to support Ukrainian students and academics which we strongly support. You can read the plea here.
- ESN Ukraine volunteers have compiled a list of ways to help here.
- The Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) has published numerous offers of financial support & accommodation from European & international scientific institutions, which can be found here.
Finally, we hope you never ever need this, but just in case you need some information about emergency first aid, here are some useful information sheets for you put together by one of the Plushie Help Network team members whose human pet is a nurse.
If you are a plushie in need of help please get in touch with us:
We have plushies in Poland, Germany, Sweden, the UK and much further beyond who can help you find accommodation, get help, and try to send you aid packages. We have contacts on the ground, so please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Thank you very much for reading. Please feel free to share this with anyone you think may also find it useful.
If you’d like to help, please consider the following:
